HAPPY HOLIDAYS! A GIFT FROM SNAP TO YOU

Between us (Nadia and Marie) we have three toddlers. So obviously, we decided to get together and give them all a shared half sibling. Why not? This one wasn't supposed to be sentient, right?

It's no coincidence that after a year of labor, we decided to finally birth SNAP Pajamas right before the holidays. The brand itself was conceived due to a harried phone call between the two of us regarding our children's school Christmas parties. They were meant to wear themed pajamas, and the offerings were SLIM, to say the least. Polyester blend sets covered in garish Santa Claus prints took a conversation about possibly producing children's clothing and narrowed it down to a plan: children's pajamas that were both aesthetically pleasing to us and healthy for our children, i.e. made of 100% natural fibers.

So, we chose the holiday season for our first drop. We wanted to tackle the very thing that had inspired us: Christmas pajamas. As you can see from our first collection, we sought out fabrics and prints that felt classic, but more appealing to our eye than what we were finding in stores. Our red, green, and navy plaids are lighter, less heavy than your classic dark red/green winter flannel. The cotton gauze is bright and airy and feels like a hug. The Merry-Gold gauze, with its subtle polka dot texture, makes us think of golden bells. And we wanted our kids to wear them to bed and beyond months later and not feel like they were just wearing their now expired "holiday pajamas." They're classic. Cute. They look good in a holiday photo and they still look good in February (especially the red, hello Valentine's Day!).

And the baby was not sentient, btw. Design and production is not an easy task to take on. And driving across town to pick up samples with screaming toddlers in the back seat is not for the faint of heart. But we made it. One year later. And the school didn't even have a pajama party this year.

Best, N+M.
